Annual accounts to XBRL
Drop the trial balance your accounting software exports and download the NBB-CBSO XBRL file the National Bank's Filing application accepts, checked against the statutory rules. Everything happens in your browser.
Which files can I drop?
A closing trial balance (balance des comptes / proefbalans) as exported by First, AcconPlus, Intellifin, CaseWare or any package that writes one account per row with the PCMN code first: tab-, semicolon- or comma-separated text, fixed-width text, or an .xlsx worksheet. Also an .xtmp or .xbrl on the NBB's previous pfs taxonomy (WinAuditor, Sofista), which the Filing application no longer accepts.
Which models does it produce?
The micro model for companies without capital (m87), which is what an SRL/BV or SC/CV of micro size files, and the association and foundation models (m04, m05, m08). A company with capital (SA/NV) or one that must file the abbreviated or full schema is refused rather than filed on the wrong model.
Why does it ask for a general meeting date and valuation rules?
They are mandatory mentions of the filing and no export carries them. The valuation rules are the free text of section 6.5 of the model; the business court is the one on your company's KBO/BCE extract.
What does it check?
The statutory arithmetic and logical checks the NBB publishes for the model, the same ones the Filing application runs when you upload. A filing that fails a disqualifying check is not produced; you see which rubrics disagree and by how much.
Is my trial balance uploaded anywhere?
No. Parsing, mapping and validation all run in your browser. The file and the figures never leave your device.
